What a great spiritual retreat in a great American city. 20,000+ college students and leaders collectively lifting their hearts and eyes to Jesus! That is a powerful thing!!

I am still trying to process all the information I heard preached to really get a full grip on the impact the weekend had on me and what I am supposed to do with it all, but here are a few quotes worth sharing...

"Passion 2010 is all about trading something small for something huge" -Louie Giglio

"We stink (like lazrus did dead for 4 days in the tomb) but Jesus isn't afraid to roll away the stone on our lives and call us to life" -Louie Giglio

"The difference between our hardships and the worlds is that ours are never in vain" -Beth Moore

"God doesnt just call you to be a missionary or a minister, he first calls you to Himself" -Beth Moore

"don't drop nickles on other peoples dreams... everything we have belongs to God" -Louie Giglio (John Piper)

"Become Partakers of the divine nature" -Francis Chan (2 Peter ch.1)

You can't decide what you want to do before you determine who you are going to be" - Andy Stanley

"Your talent has the potential to sweep you past what your character can handle" -Andy Stanley

"Generocity insures your possesions never own you" -Andy Stanley

"What you want said about you at your funeral is your personal definition of success" -Andy Stanley (maxwell?)

"Do we love for God to love his glory" -John Piper

"The best moments in life leave you feeling insignificant" -John Piper

"The foundation of salvation is God's worth" -John Piper

"Self forgetfulness in the presence of greatness is the capstone of joy" -John Piper

Not just was passion a great week of spiritual refreshening, it was also a great week with great people... Thanks Nate, Dakota, Jacob, Mason, Matt, Damien, Carrie, The Flatwoods Crew, and my community group for an awesome experience!

I still have much more to add about the ATL trip, I just got to process it all before I can spit it out!

Nate

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://natheology.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-adventure-1-atl-version.html' title='2010 Adventure #1...
